You want to learn a practical profession and earn money? A vocational training might be a good option for you. Trainees earn between 550€ and 1100€ per month and can therefore finance their life in Germany.

In Germany vocational training is in high demand since it is always a dual education. That means people learn their trade at work but they also go to a vocational school.

First you need an employment contract. Then you need the documents for the entry. If you come from the European Union, you will not need a visa to enter! If you are not from the EU, some documents are important. Required documents according to country can be found here.

You can also enter Germany to find a vocational training. Important requirements are:
- You must not be older than 25 years.
- You have a high school certificate and are allowed to study at university or you have graduated from a German school abroad.
- Your language level is at least B2.
- Your livelihood is secured. / You are financially independent.

If you meet these criteria, then you are allowed to enter the country for 6 months. You are not allowed to work during this time.
